Pumpelly Residence Additions & Alterations:

Mr. Meacham was commissioned to design an addition that more than doubled the size of the existing living room.

The owner wanted to create a new image for the house that was more modern and evocative of the Prarie School architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright while blending with the existing 1950's stone ranch house architecture.

The random rubble stone cladding was sourced from a local quarry to match the stone of the original house as closely as possible.  New Vermont green slate was used to match the roofing of the existing house.
