project page
3900 Cathedral Avenue, N.W.
Washington, DC:
Mr.Meacham designed alterations to the interior architecture, completely renovating all rooms of this 3 bedroom apartment in the historic Westchester, a 1929 Deco Gothic co-op apartment complex that is a landmark in Wesley Heights neighborhood in Washington.
The bathrooms were renovated with new tile, fixtures and architectural lighting while retaining and restoring the existing bath tubs.
The kitchen was completely gutted and new custom designed cabinets were designed, concealing the Sub-Zero refrigerator to the left of the Viking range with built-in vent hood above. Absolute black granite caps the natural finished maple cabinets.
Architectural columns were added in the Living Room to enhance the definition of the adjacent Entry Hall, Sun Porch and Dining Room areas.
